The space agency has scheduled the third attempt to launch the mammoth moon rocket.

This Launch attempt for NASA's "Giant  Moon Rocket" set for September 27.

The first two attempts to launch the rocket failed due to technical issues.

NASA called off the first launch attempt because engineers couldnt get one of the four RS-25 engines in the rocket's core stage to a safe temperature in time.

The agency said it had resolved the issue, which was traced to a malfunctioning temperature sensor.

Once again, an alarm went out while the rocket was being loaded with its supercooled liquid hydrogen fuel.

NASA said that they were unable to stop the leak on three separate occasions.
