Albert Pujols' Place On Baseball's All-Time HR List

2022 will have two home run chases. Aaron Judge wants to become the first player since 2001 to smash 60 homers in a year..

Albert Pujols wants to become the fourth player in MLB history to hit 700 homers.

Pujols would join Hank Aaron as the only players in history with 700 home runs and 3,000 hits,

and the only 700 club members without a 50-home run season.

Pujols passed Alex Rodriguez's 696 career homers on Sep. 11.

Given that Pujols is retiring after this season, he won't catch Babe Ruth's 714 home runs.

Barry Bonds hit No. 756 in his final year, 2007, against Michael Bacsik. He topped Aaron with 762 homers.
